BLOM Deutschland GmbH is the German subsidiary of Blom, a profitable growth company operating in the fields of Geographic Information and Offshore Technologies. Across the Group, Blom employs more than 1,000 experienced staff, and provides a wide variety of mapping, geographic, navigation and location based products and services, meeting local, regional and international standards and specifications. Blom owns unique databases of images and develops software applications and services based on this information.

BLOM Deutschland GmbH has been in operation for more than 20 years and has developed into a successful engineering company, with operations in the geodata markets of German regions and internationally. The company employs around 30 staff at offices in Schorndorf (near Stuttgart), Neubrandenburg and Hanover, providing services that reflect a complete range of current geodata management requirements: geodesy, airborne collection, high technology processing, photogrammetry, geoinformatics, and consulting.

In 2005 the company was acquired by Blom ASA, becoming the German subsidiary of European Blom, a company listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange.

Blom is proud of its long history with a large number of customers and concentrates on providing client organisations with the data they require, in a format which meets their needs.
